RepresentativeScott Boyd shares his thoughts on the latest “stimulus” package.

A lot of people are a little upset with Sen Arlen Specter and his recent vote on the stimulus package. At a recent press conference in cranberry township protesters made sure Specter was aware of their feelings. Some of their signs read “Benedict Arlen Wait for 2010″

Six years ago, Specter barely won the Republican primary, but he says he’s not afraid to fight for the job one more time.

There has been a lot of speculation as to who will challenge Senator Specter in 2010. One conservative in Pennsylvania asking if he, a conservative businessman with no “political” experience, could run and win a statewide election.

Tim Burns runs the blog ConservativeCommonsense.com and can also be found on YouTube, twitter and facebook.

I don’t know how well he will do in a statewide senate race but I like the fact that he is getting involved, I think we could use a few thousand more common sense conservatives getting directly involved in Pennsylvania. I also think having no “political” experience might be a good thing.

Keep the common sense coming Mr. Burns.

What does corruption cost? 5.8 Million!

Joe Hainthaler at “Always Right” shares the latest AP report that our own PA legislature has spent 5.8 million dollars legal fees dealing with investigations into staff bonuses and the misuses of public money.
Nearly all the money was spent by the House Democrats and Republicans in the House and Senate.

Here in Lancaster, PA Bill Ayers is yet again stirring up a hornets nest.
The Backstory:
Millersville University, way back in Feb of 2008, invited Ayers to come and speak on the subject of urban education. Back in Feb Ayers had not been thrust into the public eye.
