A lot of people are a little upset with Sen Arlen Specter and his recent vote on the stimulus package. At a recent press conference in cranberry township protesters made sure Specter was aware of their feelings. Some of their signs read “Benedict Arlen Wait for 2010″

KDKA reported

Six years ago, Specter barely won the Republican primary, but he says he’s not afraid to fight for the job one more time.

There has been a lot of speculation as to who will challenge Senator Specter in 2010. One conservative in Pennsylvania asking if he, a conservative businessman with no “political” experience, could run and win a statewide election.

Tim Burns runs the blog ConservativeCommonsense.com and can also be found on YouTube, twitter and facebook.

I don’t know how well he will do in a statewide senate race but I like the fact that he is getting involved, I think we could use a few thousand more common sense conservatives getting directly involved in Pennsylvania. I also think having no “political” experience might be a good thing.

Keep the common sense coming Mr. Burns.

i think it is offensive that arlen spector voted against the people he is suppossed to be representing and does not have one concern over it. conservatives need to unite and vote 2010. we need leaders with commonsense ideas of small government, low taxes, personal responsibility, and freedom. that is the only way we can have a voice in this massive spending government that is out of control. we must stick together, remain strong and confident in our principles afterall tha is what our founding fathers envisioned. thanks brenda
