Pennsylvania’s state and municipal pension systems constitute a financial crisisthat will dramatically impact taxpayers’ wallets and pocketbooks in the not too distant future. Public pension plans are some of the least understood and yet most far reaching and important public policy topics facing this and the next generation of taxpayers. The goal of the forum is to present the basic facts taxpayers need to understand the problem and be an effective contributor in the necessary reform efforts. This presentation is focused on all levels of knowledge and interests.
