Pat Toomey Receives PA GOP Endorsement

I guess the life is one of the small issues that he was talking about that shouldn’t divide us since it’s SMALL innocent defenseless babies that die. Any politician that thinks life is an issue that is not essential does not believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. When I called Toomey’s campaign office they told me that he was pro-life but couldn’t tell me if he held to any exceptions.
I’m very disappointed in Toomey’s nomination. Peg Luksik is the more conservative, intelligent, moral, and articulate of the two. Yet even after Luksisk made Toomey look like a fool at their debate for the Republican endorsement, the GOP put their stamp of approval on Toomey. Why? Because the GOP has him in their back pocket and he’s got the money. From what I can tell Toomey believes in a gov’t buy the Republicans for the Republicans, and Luksik believes in by the people and for the people. Toomey represents the same old Republican mediocrity, and cowardice we’ve seen for the last two decades. No trust building here.
