Rep. Tom Creighton has authored a bill that would require gas stations to operate at least one full-service pump under state law. The legislation would apply to stations with at least six pumps.
Is it time for yet another law or should we just enforce laws already on the books? Under the American’s with disabilities act a gas station with more than one attendant is required to pump the gas of a person with a handicap parking pass, at the self serve price.
Let’s look for a solution to ensure the current law is being enforced before adding more mandates and regulations to local business owners.
