AFP’s State Director Sam Rohrer said, “While I am glad there are no recommended tax increases in this budget, this budget as proposed has a long way to go before it is constitutionally balanced. While some significant spending cuts were recommended, there are not enough to fix the overspending.”

Corbett indicates he’ll be a man of few words – Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

Saying he is still in “grand jury mode,” Attorney General Tom Corbett, governor-elect of Pennsylvania, made it clear that as governor he won’t say much about issues until he is absolutely ready to make an announcement.

“I’m not Ed Rendell,” said Corbett, a Shaler Republican, referring to the loquacious outgoing governor who held frequent news conferences and was prone to speaking off the cuff.

Muhlenberg Poll – Tommey 41% Sestak 44%

A new Muhlenberg Poll has Toomey trailing Sestak 41% to 44% with 15% undecided. The same poll has Corbett leading 47%-40% with 14% undecided. This election will be all about turnout folks to make sure you get your friends out to vote on November 2nd.
