LiveFreePA is an afternoon celebration of many of the personal freedoms we enjoy today but which are under attack in Harrisburg and Washington. LiveFreePA features live music by Jump the Gun, trap shooting, and much more all in a family friendly atmosphere. There will be ample activities for kids of all ages to participate in, from face painting to pumpkin carvings and more. US Armament Corp. will also be on hand with a Gatling gun!

LiveFreePA will be held 12 p.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23 at Palmyra Sportsmen’s Association.

Arrive early (10am) for a Tea Party on the Capitol Steps (sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots of Central PA)

Richard C. Dreyfuss a senior fellow of the Commonwealth Foundation will be speaking on “Pensions & Politics: Why Your Taxes Will Skyrocket”

Pennsylvania’s state and municipal pension systems constitute a financial crisisthat will dramatically impact taxpayers’ wallets and pocketbooks in the not too distant future. Public pension plans are some of the least understood and yet most far reaching and important public policy topics facing this and the next generation of taxpayers. The goal of the forum is to present the basic facts taxpayers need to understand the problem and be an effective contributor in the necessary reform efforts. This presentation is focused on all levels of knowledge and interests.
