Washington- Rep. Joe Pitts (PA-16) is cosponsoring legislation that would amend the Constitution to limit federal government spending to 20 percent of the economic output of the United States. The spending limit would be waived only with the agreement of two-thirds of both the House and Senate or by declaration of war.

A few days ago my wife received a direct mail piece from the Russell campaign. The piece, in typical fashion, attacked John Murtha but the timing was just a little (two weeks) off.

Probably just an automated mail piece that wasn’t able to be pulled in time or one that someone forgot to pull. Either way it’s something a campaign should be ready to respond to.
