As you know we recently elected a new Senator here in Pennsylvania and his name is Pat Toomey. First we called him congressman, then candidate then senator elect and now we call him Senator Toomey. Here are a few pictures from the swearing in.

Once we elect new government leaders we need to stay in touch. November isn’t the end, it’s the beginning. We need to stay involved, keep spreading the word and continue to hold our elected officials accountable.

7 term congressman, Joe Pitts, has launched his campaign website and with Saturday’s Lancaster committee event at the Eden Resort he has kicked the campaign into gear. From now (Feb 16th) until March 9th volunteers will be scurrying to fill nomination petitions with signatures. Pitts needs 1,000 signatures from the 43rd district to appear on the ballot.
