I’m not picking on GT Thompson for this rant I’m just using his YouTube videos as an example.

Is it really necsessery for our elected officials to give speeches about sports teams winning games, shoofly pie at a farm show? There are a few big issues making the rounds these days and when I see videos like these I have to wonder, is this a good use of taxpayer dollars? Is this a good use of elected officials time?

Perhaps the reason more senators and congressman don’t post their floor speeches online is because their floor speeches have no substance.

Penn state parents are a special interest group, the farm show is a special interest group, dairy farmers are a special interest group. I’m all for less pandering and more governing. /rant
