Here is the stream from Bryan Cutler’s twitter yesterday as they debated the PA budget. I was at work but would check in to see how it was going. Keeping your constituents informed as it’s happening is an excellent use of twitter. Cutler also has his twitter stream embedded on the front page of his website. - #pabudget People who receive nonpreferred appropriations this year should be notified they have a year to find alternate funding
- #pabudget Everyone should be able to compete for this money, not just those lucky enough to have bills introduced.
- Tough votes on #pabudget bills. Have to vote no since process is flawed and we should not pick winners and losers, it is still all pork
- The legislature should not be picking winners and losers. Especially when there is a shortage of money and everyone could use it.
- In surprise move D’s go over museums and begin colleges. Still voted no because the budget process should not be like this.
